Philnet Photography Terms of Business - Weddings.

WEDDING BOOKINGS: Are always subject to availability and are only considered to be a definite booking on receipt and acceptance of the booking form and booking fee. Dates are never kept open, 'pencilled in' or provisional on the off chance.

BOOKING FEE: The booking fee ( £150 ) is required to secure your booking and must accompany the booking form, - or with ON LINE

BOOKINGS must be posted immediately on receipt of the invoice - bookings are not secure until the booking fee is paid. The booking fee is non-refundable but is deducted in full from the package price, booking fee's received for dates already booked will be returned.

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY CONTRACT: On acceptance of the booking all clients are issued with a Wedding Photography Contract, which the clients will be asked to complete and return to Philnet Photography, clients will receive their own copy. The contract represents your guarantee of service and goods paid for and contains important safeguards for your wedding photography. The contract is legal and binding.

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY BALANCE PAYMENT: The balance - IN FULL - is due 30 days prior the date of the wedding, for which the clients are usually invoiced in advance. PLEASE NOTE: It remains the responsibility of the clients to ensure the balance is paid on time.

SHORT NOTICE BOOKINGS: Bookings received where dates may be available are treated as any other booking, with payments due as above, except where a booking is taken 30 days or less from the wedding date, on these occasions full payment is due at the time of booking, unless a mutually agreeable arrangement can be made.

CANCELLATIONS: Should the clients wish to cancel the booking, this should be done without delay, the booking fee is forfeit in all cases. Cancellations MUST be in writing, ALL CANCELLATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO A £20 CANCELLATION FEE which must accompany the cancellation letter. Every effort will be made to re-book the date cancelled, but in the eventuality the date is not re-booked, Phil Turton - Philnet Photography - reserves the right to charge a balance payment, the equivalent to 75% of the full balance will be due, for which the clients will be invoiced. ( Cancellation by Phil Turton - Philnet Photography Services - is most unlikely to happen as every safeguard possible to protect your wedding photography has been catered for, but in this unlikely event, a full refund of all moneys paid will be made ).

PRICE PROMISE: Phil Turton - Philnet Photography - guarantees the price agreed for the package booked including goods and services covered by the contract, will be fixed, with no risk of any price increase prior the date of the wedding, up to six months following the date of the wedding. ( The guarantee applies to the wedding photography package only, not goods or additional orders made at a later date ).

INSURANCE: Phil is covered by Professional Indemnity Insurance which covers the unlikely event of photographic failure and also Public Liability Insurance. This insurance is for the peace of mind of the clients and the photographer, but only covers Phil Turton - Philnet Photography Services - and does not cover any other service provided by a third party. It is strongly recommended clients consider taking out a Wedding Insurance Policy, normally available at reasonable prices. ( Please note: Phil is not an insurance agent and does not sell wedding insurance ).
